Perseverance Fund

In 2009, Passionate Ink, with the generous assistance of Angela Knight, established a perseverance fund, which is available to all members (or prospective members) who wish to participate in the chapter but aren’t in a financial position to do so. If someone you know hasn’t joined or renewed for financial reasons, please urge them to apply to the Passionate Ink Board of Directors for an award to cover their dues.

To qualify for an award from the fund, an applicant must have at least three letters of need submitted to the Board by three different RWA members. The letters shall contain a statement of the applicant’s financial need as well as a description of the applicant’s serious pursuit of a romance writing career. The applicant need not currently be a member of PI but must be a member in good standing of Romance Writers of America. (RWA administers its own Perseverance Fund, for which application may be made at the RWA office. Email info@rwanational.org for more information.)
